3. How We Collect It

We collect information directly from you when you fill out a form on our Site, upload a document, send us an email, or speak with a claim specialist on the phone. We collect technical information automatically when you visit the Site, through standard server logs.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • review your eligibility for F&I product refunds;
  • prepare and file cancellation requests with the relevant product administrators;
  • communicate with you regarding your claim;
  • communicate with administrators, dealerships, lenders, and lienholders on your behalf;

5. Who We Share It With

We share your information only as needed to provide the Service. The categories of recipients are:

  • Product administrators— the companies that back your F&I product contracts, to whom we submit cancellation requests on your behalf.
  • Dealerships, lenders, and lienholders— only where necessary to confirm contract details or coordinate disbursement.
  • Service providers— vendors that help us operate the Site and Service, including Supabase (database and file storage), Resend (transactional email), and Vercel (hosting). These providers are contractually limited to using your information only to provide their services to us.
  • Legal and safety— where required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights or safety of NARG, our users, or others.

We do not sell your personal information. See our California Privacy Rights notice for additional detail.

6. How Long We Keep It

We retain your information for as long as needed to administer your claim and to meet our legal, accounting, and reporting obligations. Documents uploaded in support of a claim are typically retained for seven years after the claim is closed. You may request deletion of your information at any time as described below.

7. How We Protect It

We transmit information over an encrypted connection (TLS) and store documents in access-controlled storage. We limit internal access to the staff who need it to administer your claim. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but we use commercially reasonable measures.

  • Access— request a copy of the information we hold about you.
  • Correction— ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Deletion— ask us to delete your information, subject to limited exceptions (e.g., information we must retain to complete a transaction or comply with law).
  • Opt-out of sale or sharing— though we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, you may direct us not to.
  • Non-discrimination— we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

California residents have additional rights described in our California Privacy Rights notice.

9. How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise any of the rights above, email us at claims@nationalautorefund.comwith the subject line “Privacy Request” and tell us which right you are exercising and the email address associated with your claim. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law (generally 45 days, with a possible 45-day extension).
